It’s no secret that people love animals. However, some of them have better reputations than others, which aren't always deserved. So, I wanted to dig into some of the most overrated animals on the planet. Dolphins This one is going to ruffle some feathers, which is ironic considering dolphins do not have any. Dolphins earned their way to this distinction, I didn’t just put them on here to get some page views (although, I’m not above doing that). Dolphins are renowned for their intelligence. My question is how smart can something be if it needs oxygen to live, but decides that the best place for it to live is underwater? Additionally, their “intelligence” manifests in the form of blowing bubbles to catch fish. Look out! Make way for Stephen Hawking! What’s holding them back is a lack of hands. Da Vinci: An Overrated Genius

Leonardo Da Vinci was an architect, musician, engineer, scientist, and inventor. He’s also one of the most overrated people in the history of the world. Da Vinci is heralded as a genius, and yeah, on the surface it seems like he is, but take a step back for a second. Back when he was alive, what it took to be considered a “genius” wasn’t what it is today. If you could paint a nice picture you’d be considered a genius. I’ve seen chimpanzees paint decent pictures, and that was even with a break from the canvas to fling their own feces at someone walking past their cage. The Mona Lisa is considered Da Vinci’s masterpiece and one of the greatest paintings of all time. Have you looked at it lately? At best, it’s an okay painting of an ugly woman. I don’t care if his technique was great. Good for him, he could hold his brush properly. I want to see results, I don’t care if the artist holds the brush backwards and between their teeth as long as they get the jo...
